Abundance at Montalto – A Celebration of the Olive

Join us as we celebrate the 2015 olive harvest with our Abundance Olive Festival.

We have been holding our annual weekend celebration for 13 years now, and it is a much loved part of the Montalto events calendar.

A festival spirit pervades the atmosphere; with live music, an intimate, hand selected market, cooking demonstrations, martini bar, olive oil massage, kids activities and of course Montalto food, wine and hospitality.

Be the first to try the new season Montalto olive oils, with Estate olives and yummy foods to stock your pantry with. Wander the market filled with local and hand crafted products including Red Hill Cheese, Olieve & Olie, and fine wool knits by The Knit Studio.

The Kids Corner keeps the little ones happy, with Coastal Creatives craft projects and Faerie Crystall entrancing them with her stories and face painting. A ride on the tractor drawn Olive Express and a special kids only olive pip spitting competition makes the day a memorable one.

Learn some new skills with chefs’ cooking demonstrations, wine and cheese matching master classes and olive oil soap making workshops. Relax with an olive oil massage from Wendy, indulge in a martini or glass of wine and some great food from the Piazza Cafe.

ABUNDANCE LUNCH AT MONTALTO

Sunday lunch is a shared table experience as one long table runs the length of the dining room.

Abundant, shared platters showcase the seasonal harvest of the Estate.

Challenge for the mantle of Olive Pip Spitting Champion and wear the championship crown!

The procession of the new season oils is the icing on the cake.

$95 per person for food, including welcome glass of bubbly or martini.

Abundance is an all weather event.
Entry is free, although some activities attract a small cost.
