Over the past 6 decades, regular visitors to the McCulloch family’s atmospheric home gallery Whistlewood at Shoreham have included many of Australia’s most well known landscape artists such as Arthur Boyd, Albert Tucker, Fred Williams and Russell Drysdale.

This summer Whistlewood links with this history in presenting 20/20 A Sense of Place – an expansive exhibition of the work of 50 + leading contemporary landscape artists from around Australia working in a great variety of styles and media. Featured are  Aboriginal in-depth representations of Country, striking works on paper and explorations of the interior, coastlines, forests and wildlife by artists from diverse cultural backgrounds. Mid February sees a film screening and exhibition by Aboriginal artists of  Fitzroy Crossing, WA while a wide range of  art features on weekly open days. At  LTP we believe that a visit to Whistlewood with its ever-changing displays of Indigenous and other Australian art and special events will broaden the mind and lift the spirits.
