Summer truffles have become big news in Australia and Red Hill Truffles is delighted to be part of the excitement, offering summer black truffle hunting for the first time.

To the untrained eye, summer truffles are similar to their winter cousins as first glance, but their flesh is lighter and the flavour more suited to lighter summer dishes.

Join us and our talented hunting dogs to gather some of the truffles they find and learn more about the fascinating history of these coveted fungi and how they came to be farmed in Australia.

Tasting treats at the end of the hunt, including wood-fired pizza with truffle shavings, will leave you in no doubt about the reason truffle-lovers count the days between seasons.

The summer hunts are a special opportunity to see the truffiere in all its lush, leafy glory. Summer truffle hunting is available during December to February.
