It’s the minimalist yet luxurious Scandinavian style that makes Nord House feel so right. Once you arrive at the property which is just off the main strip of Red Hill, you can easily leave the car alone and walk to nearby restaurants and cafes (The Red Hill Cellar & Pantry, The Long table, The Epicurean and Red Hill House are all a comfortable walk away).

You can also enjoy the beautiful nature walks in the area, or some of Victoria’s leading wineries and their restaurants – Polperro, Port Philip Estate, Paringa Estate, Tucks Ridge and Montalto.  Decorated in traditional cool Scandi style, Nord House is all white washed floors and walls with shades of grey and tonal black adding a contemporary edge.  And there are touches of nature everywhere, with potted plants, pine cones and decorative leaves – plus views from the large windows of olive trees, magnolias and local flora too.  French doors open to the north-facing summer garden. A cosy wood fire adds to the atmosphere, and you’ll find all the latest European appliances in the state of the art and stylish black kitchen.  The pantry is lovingly stocked with all the essentials including organic olive oil, balsamic vinegar, T2 teas and Nespresso. The bathrooms are beautifully styled of course, and feature Organic Grown Alchemist hand and body wash and Danish bath towels by Mette Ditmer.  It will be hard to get out of the luxurious beds though, which all feature the finest most sumptuous European Linen by Hale Mercantile Co. There are so many reasons to go to Nord House, for an intimate, family or ‘besties’ getaway – the property comfortably sleeps up to six people.
