With a membership base that has been full for a considerable time, the Blairgowrie Yacht Squadron has decided it is time to open up an opportunity for new members to join this family friendly sailing club.  Now you have a chance to join in with all of the sailing and activities, and enjoy all the facilities and location while being a part of this vibrant and inviting community.

With the best sailing program on the Mornington Peninsula, the Blairgowrie Yacht Squadron also boasts a new architecturally designed Clubhouse and a state of the art 340 berth marina.  Its sheltered harbour provides a private area where families can relax and enjoy the beautiful waters and views of Port Phillip.  The Clubhouse facilities include a 150 seat bistro and a relaxed and stylish Racing Lounge, both featuring wide decks for outdoor dining.  There is also a communal grassed area for enjoying a casual picnic in the sunshine.  With an ever-changing menu, live music on Thursday nights and themed member functions, there is always something new and entertaining for those lucky enough to be a member of this sought after sailing club.  A true sailing community with all you would expect from a first class operation, BYS also offers the much sought after Tackers sailing program for children (a Junior introduction to sailing program) and the club has a real focus on women in sailing with a specially designed program that caters for a variety of sailing opportunities. The application process is simple and straight forward, and once you have been approved by the Committee, you can enjoy being a member of BYS and all of its fabulous facilities on offer.
