Events

Join the festivities on the Mornington Peninsula. Celebrate the visual arts from regional galleries to community festivals and local artists studios. Experience fresh produce, incredible environments, live entertainment or get a feel for the community. There’s always more happening than we can bring to your attention but this section is a selection of some of the events the LTP editorial team will experience throughout the year.

Red Hill Community Market

Red Hill is the 'grand dame' of Victoria's craft markets. Located in one of the State's most picturesque settings, Red Hill Community Market started in 1975 as a community based event where 28 local producers and crafts people came to sell and barter their goods and excess produce.

Candle Making Workshop with Red Hill Candle Co

Join the team at Red Hill Candle Co in their Scent Lab located in the Dromana Industrial Estate where you will get hands on and learn the basics of candle making. This workshop is designed to be a fun memorable day out rather than a heavily detailed training on making candles. At the end of the workshop you will have designed two of your very own custom fragranced candles.

Gin Masterclass

As pioneers of the gin masterclass in Australia, Bass & Flinders Distillery offer a selection of the most unique masterclasses available - constantly exploring new flavours and aromas to ensure a fun, interactive taste experience like no other, where you have an opportunity to create your very own bespoke gin or spiced brandy.

Autumn Garden Wander at Cruden Farm

Cruden Farm offers a relaxed and friendly experience for people to enjoy and consists of wondrous manicured gardens and peaceful walking areas, set amongst interesting bushland and lakes. The sights and scents at Cruden Farm constantly alter throughout the seasons and there are many plants and trees to be discovered.
