In celebration of International Women’s Day, Alice Walker’s book and subsequent movie, the suffragette movement, women artists and all First Nations Women, The Colour Purple is an exhibition comprising a wide variety of works by leading and emerging Aboriginal women artists from around Australia. The exhibition features works that include the colour purple, as well as a wide variety of other works by Aboriginal women artists.

Opening Saturday March 9 | 2-4pm. To be opened by actor and author Kerry Armstrong at 3pm.
