Winter Wine Weekend is held during the Queens Birthday long weekend in June every year.

Winter Wine Weekend is made up of two parts:

1. Winter Wine Fest – Saturday only (ticketed event) at Red Hill Showground

The opening event of the weekend is the Winter Wine Fest (Saturday only 11am – 4pm), held at the Red Hill Showground is an exhibition and tasting which traditionally marks the beginning of the extensive Winter Wine Weekend program. One place on one day all under cover where you can taste more than 200 premium wines from 47 wineries.

2. Cellar Door activities and events – all Weekend at participating Cellar Doors including:

Blue Range Estate Wines – Cellar Door open Sunday
Crittenden Estate – unique Wine Centre experience
Dromana Estate – Cellar Door, food available
Elan Vineyard & Winery – enjoy a glass of wine and gourmet frankfurt in crusty bread
Fenian Wines – join winemaker for tastings, gourmet pies & cheese platters, Irish music Sunday
Foxey’s Hangout – blend your own, includes personalised bottle $55 for two people – bookings essential
Lindenderry at Red Hill – Cellar Door all weekend 11am-5pm. Winemakers five course dinner Sat 10th June. Bookings essential
Main Ridge Estate – wine tasting in barrel cellar. Burgundian 3 course Sunday lunch $60- bookings required. Light lunches Sat & Mon.
Mantons Creek Estate and Lodge – explore secluded premium vineyard
Montalto – wine & food – open all long weekend
Moorooduc Estate – taste and purchase new releases at Cellar Door
Morning Sun Vineyard – wood fired pizzas to share with glass of wine -$40 for two people
Myrtaceae – vintage stock available – Johnny Ripe pies & glass of wine on Sunday
Nazaaray Estate – Unique Cellar Door experience. Tiffin buffet lunch Sunday. bookings essential
Ocean Eight Vineyard and Winery – Cellar Door Thur-Sat 11-5 Sun 11-3. Barrel tastings by appointment
Paringa Estate – Live Jazz & light meals in winery
Phaedrus Estate – annual vertical tasting event, with cheese platter

Prancing Horse – latest releases and back vintages on Sunday at Cellar Door
Quealy Winemakers – Sunday brunch or lunch with Burn City Smokers food truck with live music. Also open daily for tastings
Red Hill Estate – tastings from 11am
Stonier – Tastings each day. On Sunday enjoy live music and gourmet pies
Ten Minutes by Tractor – new release Estate & Single vineyard wines. Superb matching degustation menu in restaurant. Bookings essential
The Cups Estate – Sample wines and tapas style lunch menu. Bookings essential
Tuck’s Ridge – visit leading producer and creator of cool climate wines
