Once a month on a Sunday, Cruden Farm welcomes people to take a tour or just come for the day and have a leisurely stroll around the gardens and farm. You are welcome to bring a picnic.
Dame Elisabeth Murdoch left the property for people to enjoy and consists of wondrous manicured gardens and peaceful walking areas, set amongst interesting bushland and lakes. The sights and scents at Cruden Farm constantly alter throughout the seasons, and there are many plants and trees to be discovered.

In August, the area around the lake is spectacular. Drifts of daffodils carve shapes in the landscape, backed by the yellow haze of wattles in bloom. The chill of winter is forgotten, with the promise of early spring.
