Summertime at Pitchingga Ridge

Hidden away among the tall gums in the heart of the Mornington Peninsula Hinterland, is a 25 acre patch of tranquility - home of Pitchingga Ridge Alpacas, where Jean & David, for the past 20 years have farmed the gentle, inquisitive alpaca. Both types are raised on the property - suri, with their long, flowing silky locks and huacaya, the more traditional, huggable type.

Summer at the Peninsula Hot Springs

Peninsula Hot Springs has grown to become one of the most recognized tourism products in the State and a leader in health and wellbeing tourism. The thermal spring water found at the Peninsula Hot Springs contains naturally occurring minerals including sulphur, calcium, magnesium and potassium.

The ultimate Australian farmhouse on over 14 stunning acres of pastoral land abutting Merricks Creek, your bucolic dream with a luxury 5-bedroom homestead, lagoon pool and separate deluxe home office complex awaits. Rare Hare Preview Dinners

The first of two preview dinners commences in collaboration with Mornington Peninsula Brewery and Commonfolk Coffee. Highlights include five rounds of brews and chews, with dishes like snapper crudo, wood roasted prawns, and lamb shoulder, all served with select MP hops.

Winter Wine Weekend

The opening event of the weekend is the Winter Wine Fest (Saturday only 11am - 4pm), held at the Red Hill Showground is an exhibition and tasting which traditionally marks the beginning of the extensive Winter Wine Weekend program. One place on one day all under cover where you can taste more than 200 premium wines from 47 wineries.

There’s nothing like a coastal holiday; a ‘home-away-from-home’, but what if your family (like many) has a four-legged friend in their pack? Do you leave them behind? If you do take them on holiday, the inevitable questions arise. Are the facilities secure? Are the accommodations up to our standard? If you can’t take them then the inevitable feelings of guilt & separation anxiety arise.

Willow Creek Preview Dinner

A hop from the Peninsula's anticipated luxury hotel, Jackalope, Willow Creek's spiritual home will reopen on 01 March, completely reimagined as Rare Hare Wine & Food Store. With indoor and outdoor tables for 90 tails, Rare Hare is a restaurant, wine bar and produce store - destination dining, with a devil-may-care air.
